Fish Bar, said “I already own achip shop in Cardiff and have had my eye on this one for many years so when the opportunity became available Iwas delighted to expand my business into Newport. “Due to the convenience of easy


parking and areputation for quality produce it is one of the busiest chip shops in the area, turning over £250,000 ayear.”"

53rd branch Principality Building Society is to open its 53rd branch this year, in Cwmbran. Chairman Dyfrig John broke the


news at the Society’s 152nd annual meeting, held at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff Bay. He said that following the successful


opening of two branches and an additional nine agencies in the last two years, the society has continued to identify opportunities to further expand its high street presence. It is planned that the society’s


subsidiary estate agency, Peter Alan, currently located at North Walk in Cwmbran, will move to share the new space at Cwmbran Shopping Centre.

Britain’s fastest growing home, garden and leisure retailer, with more than 65 stores nationwide and plans to expand to more than 70 stores by the end of 2012. One of the most recent developments was achange in location for the Newport store, moving from Newport Retail Park at Spytty, to a bigger location at Docks way. Newport’s original store
