over a coffee, dip into the latest exhibition, watch a great film or try out a new theatre performance. Highlights this May include:


• The UK Green Film Festival (www.ukgreenfilmfestival.org) - a national festival showcasing films and filmmakers engaging with environmental and climate change themes. Friday 18th – Sunday 20th May.


• Dance Roads – Five short pieces from innovative choreographers. Friday 25th and Saturday 26th May.


• Art in the Bar – A nod to Modernism and rock star motifs where traditional rules are both maintained and broken in an exhibition of paintings by Nick Williams. Until 20th May.


• Maibock – Over 30 different real ales in our annual festival celebrating the best of German brewing. Thursday 10th – Saturday 12th May.


• Love at First Light – from the award-winning team of Greg Cullen and Phil Williams comes another exhilarating piece of new theatre, this time looking at the beauty and the pain of first love. Tuesday 8th – Saturday 19th May.
