NOTICES
In our duty-of-care and for the protection of all our students, the College needs to follow the following procedures:
Late For School All students late for school must report and sign in at Reception. Parents may drop their child at Reception and sign them in, but cannot accompany their child to class once classes have commenced. Administration staff will accompany young students to class.
Playground Equipment No student is allowed on the lower primary playground (sand pit) equipment before or after school, even when parents are present. Before and after school, students are only allowed to be on playground equipment in middle of school playground when a teacher is on duty. Students are NOT allowed on middle playgroup equipment after 3:45pm as there is no staff on duty.
Monday 30th April – Fun Run The PFA are running an Adidas fun run/walk-a-thon http://
www.schoolfunrun.com.au/ on Monday 30th April from 11:30am – 1pm as its major fundraiser for 2012 replacing the chocolate drive (let’s see if we can raise more than the chocolate drive!!). Prep to Yr2 will run/walk around a course at school whilst Yr3 to Yr 12 will walk to Lakewood Lake Reserve and run/walk around there. A sausage sizzle ($2 per sausage) will follow at school. House points will be on offer for participation and everyone who raises $10 or more selects a prize as detailed on the sponsorship forms.
Forms and money were due back by Thurs 26th April. Catriona Wansbrough - Principal
Property Developments It was planned that construction works for the MPH Change Room facilities would have started early in the year. Unfortunately we are still working with Knox Council to obtain a building permit to allow construction to commence. It is planned that the tender documentation will be issued to builders this week and for construction to commence sometime in May/June.
We are endeavouring to continue to develop the grounds and gardens around the site. We are grateful to those who have participated in recent working bees and for those who have planted trees and cuttings. I’m sure we will soon seen many of
our garden areas coming to life. Darren Waterworth - Business Manager
Prayer Group Parents are welcome to join the St Andrews Christian College prayer group. The prayer group meets in the Senior Art room after school drop off every Friday morning and parent Loueen Swank leads this group.
