PAGE 6 Special Base Camp Events


Family Fun Days This July at Base Camp join us for 3 evenings of family events de- signed for youth who are 5-12 years old and an adult partner! We have nights of fun, each with a different theme. You can sign up for one night or all three. Each evening you’ll have the option to come early for a cookout.


Times: Each Family Fun Day runs from 6:00-9:00 PM Optional cookout meal starts at 5:15 PM


Fees: Youth: $12 each night; adults are free Optional cookout dinner: $5/person


Themes & Registration


Fitness: July 11 Come learn & play several fun outdoor and indoor games, utilize our bike paths while learning about bike riding & safety. This evening will promise lots of active fun! (Bike is provided for participants 11 & old- er)

Survival: July 12 This evening will be all about outdoor skills! Learn fire building, map & compass techniques and how to pack and dress for the outdoors. All activities will focus on being fun & interactive. Sign up at: http://basecampfamilyfundaysurvival.eventbrite.com


Adventure: July 13 The last family fun day will focus on adventure! Activities will include climbing, archery and learning how to camp (tents, cooking). Activi- ties will be fun & interactive! This night will have an optional over- night camp out at Base Camp (extra $15/person) that will include a campfire, stories and cooking breakfast outside!
