Hurricane Preparedness Seminar 3 p.m. Thursday, May 10 Location: Auger Room at South Seas Island Resort, Captiva Island Join members of the Captiva Hurricane Preparation and Response Committee as the Captiva Island Fire Control District, Lee County Emergency Operations Center and the Lee County Sheriff 's Offi ce help you to prepare for hurricane season. Learn too about Captiva Island's Structural Safety Inspection Team, a group of volunteers responsible for conducting damage analyses on Captiva in the event of a severe tropical storm. Be Prepared!
