Steep Lane Baptist Chapel, Sowerby. The chapel will be open on Sat May 5th from 10.30am onwards as a drop in, serving light refreshments to the public & walkers. Afternoon Tea Wed May 9th 2.30pm with entertainment by the "Cragg Singers". Services every Sunday 10.30am, all welcome.
Barkisland Friendship Group A new Friendship Group has been formed for men and women living in and around Barkisland.
Its principal aim is to support Christ Church activities, especially Fund raising. It is hoped to have Guest speakers covering a variety of topics.
It will meet every 3rd Tuesday of the month from 1.30pm to 3.15pm at Christ Church, Barkisland. The next meeting is on Tuesday 15th May.
There will be a warm welcome for everyone.
