AIBD is a unique regional inter-governmental organization servicing countries in the Asia-Pac c region in the eld of electronic media development. It was established in 1977 under the auspices of UNESCO and hosted by the Government of Malaysia. The Institute currently has 43 member organizations in 26 member countries as its Full Members and nearly 100 A liate Members. The developmental needs of the member countries are given special priority in the activities of the Institute. region through policy and human resource development.
