Milers make a scene Hundreds of people from across Three Rivers turned out in force last month to walk or run around the Aquadrome in Rickmansworth for the Sainsbury’s Sport Relief Mile. Milers of all ages, many in fancy dress, were sponsored to do one, three or six miles around the beautiful lakes of the Aquadrome. The Chairman of Three Rivers District Council, Councillor Chris Whately-Smith was on hand to start the event, and greet the runners as they crossed the finish line and received their Sport Relief 2012 medal. Tom Darlington, event organiser, said: ―Watching the community come together to support such a great cause was brilliant. We feel very proud knowing that the money raised here today will help people living unimaginably tough lives right here in Hertfordshire, across the rest of the UK and in some of the world’s poorest countries.‖

The first took place on April 2 in Red Lion Lane, Sarratt when thieves stole a number of keys from outside the property. The second was between April 6 and April 7 in Bottoms Lane, Kings Langley where some equestrian items, including horse feed, were taken.
