“Thumbs down to the BK manager for dropping packaging and food on the floor and trying to serve it and lie when 4 people saw it. Your gross.”

“Thumbs down to the

way the Hudson School District handles their process for electing their new Superintendent. They make all these candidates go through several hours and days of interviews when they all ready know who they are going to hire. The school board doesn’t think on there own, they only listen to what the School District tell them. I mean look how they hired the Business Administrator. She wasn’t even in the running for the position to begin with.”

“Thumbs up to the women

who bad mouth everyone. Your true colors are showing. Not very good for the bottom line!”

“Thumbs up? Down? Oh

my, that’s who you choose to replace the superintendent? I’m not so sure that was the best decision. Sorry Maryellen, you would have been the better choice.

If

only we all had a say as tax payers.”

communicate with each other. Clayton for president!”

“Thumbs down to the Hudson School Board for supporting the circus that is coming to Hudson. Are you aware of H.R.3359, the traveling exotic animal protection act? This bill would effectively end the use of wild animals in traveling circuses in the United States. Maybe you should have showed your support for this bill and supported the many countries that ban the use of exotic animals in circuses. You should have done a little research first and denied the request to hold this event on School property showing your support for the animals. Shame on you!”

“Thumbs up to all the people that donated their items and time for the Hudson Dog Park Tag Sale, the turn out was fantastic. Thanks for your support, because of you we are even closer to opening those gates!”

“Thumbs down to the Campbell High School Resource Officer, Please leave our kids alone! What was the thinking here, we’ll put a bully in as the Resource Officer to end bullying? It ain’t working.”

“Thumbs up to the Campbell High School

Key Club and congratulations on yet another fantastic coffeehouse event on 4/11! It’s wonderful to see so many talented kids performing and so many others supporting their efforts. Way to go! I look forward to your next event and hope we won’t have to wait until next

laws. We all need to get big brooms and sweep these teapartiers out of Concord and out of the State of New Hampshire. We need to take the State of New Hampshire back from these radical right wingers. Get out your brooms!”

• Tired of not knowing how to do something on your PC?

for choosing Mr. Lane for Superintendent. This was exactly what the school system needed. I am a parent who has contacted the SAU to speak to HR and the Superintendent and have gotten no where with what I needed. They are all rude and never call you back. Mr. Lane is not like that at all and will handle his staff and the community in a totally different way. Start putting your resumes together you might get the boot....you all have had it made for so long, now you have to work and earn those salaries that you get that you totally don’t deserve.”

“Thumbs up to the Hudson

Town Clerk. I procrastinated and waited until the last day of the month to register my car. When I got to the Town Hall late on Friday afternoon, the State computers were down.

Even though it was

my fault for waiting until the last minute, the Hudson Town Clerk went out of her way to help me and came in on Saturday morning so that I could register my car. She did this for not only

me, but a dozen others in the same situation. Outstanding!”

“Thumbs down to the Republicans teapartiers in Concord who have passed 7 bills relaxing gun laws in NH. The Result? The Police Chief in Greenland is dead and four other officers injured. A police officer in Manchester is shot. How many more killings and injuries do we need to know that relaxing the gun laws is bad for our public safety? We need strict gun control

Third Place in the Membership Development category at the District Convention. We are very proud of you – Mr. Boutselis and Ms. Wilbur.”

“Thumbs down to the parents of obese

children, your lack of oversight places your children at almost four times the risk of diabetes and at high risk for heart attacks. Many states are now hauling the parents of obese children in to court to face fines and other civil penalties. I think it’s time to do this with Litchfield parents.”

“Thumbs down

to whomever has been picking the flowers I planted along the bike path in Litchfield. They are on my property, put there for those who are walking by to enjoy. Shame on you for taking them! Please feel free to drop a bag of bulbs off in the fall to replace them.”

“Thumbs down, way down, to Alvirne’s Mr. Lane as the new superintendent. Mr. Lane boasts of his dedication to the students, but if he runs the Hudson schools as he currently runs the High school, parents and students will suffer. His quotes and speeches all sound good, but

“Thumbs up. Owners of nuisance barking dogs, when Animal Control shows up, you better have doucments by April 30 th: CRSA- 466-1: Vaccination CRSA 436-100 by a licensed veterinarian. Neighbors should report to police, 886-6011, the location of the culprit. Your name will be kept private. Police/Animal Control, be advised!”

“Thumbs up. I took a walk to Woodcrest

Park Beach yesterday. It is a mess. 30 years ago, our children played, swam, no boats were left to collect debris. Too bad others are taking advantage. Motor boats do not belong there either. Thumbs up for paying attention to this land again!”

“Thumbs up: I’m happy to see someone is interested in trying to get our beach back! Let’s hope people respond to removing the boats from the property! The motor boat, I agree!! That’s what the boat ramp is for! How about moving a step further, clean up the property also!! Thank you whomever brought this to everyone’s attention.”

school and Town Warrant Article mandating the tax impact be listed on every Town/School warrant article. So, that every resident knows the exact property tax increase amount per thousand and if it is going to come out of their pockets, or the General Fund taxpayer funded pool. Now there needs to be a warrant article notifying residents of General Fund spending. Our selectman can take out as much as $10,000 without notifying the taxpayer or asking for consent. Our general fund is made-up of left over yearly taxpayer money. It should be managed better.”

“Thumbs up to the teachers in the Hudson School District. During this past weekend so many showed up at the middle school musical on their own time. Throughout my son’s years in this district, these woefully underpaid teachers, come to sports events, plays, concerts, dances - you name it - all in their precious few hours of their private time. We know many of them are working second and sometimes third jobs to make ends meet. I’m not sure everyone knows this.”

Litchfield Community for their support of the Second Annual Cougar Coffee House sponsored by the CHS Key

Club, where we raised over $300. Thank you also to all of our student performers. We have much to be proud of at CHS!”

“Thumbs up to the members of the CHS Key Club for a very successful year and taking home

those who have had dealings with him know a very different side. Good luck students and parents of the Hudson School District, you surely will need it!”

“Thumbs up to the return of the leaves, green paints a different picture and hides those other things you may not want to see.”

“Thumbs down. It appears that if we spent

as much time doing background checks on the scouts as we do on youth sports then we may have our little ones more protected. What is the policy here?”

“Thumbs up to Lynn Ober’s story about the

wasteful Freedom of Information requests that are wasting Litchfield’s resources, most of the requests coming from a single person who has not even reviewed all of the material. He does, of course, publish it on his web site, along with false accusations and loads of gossip.”

“Thumbs down to the gossip in schools they

are your problems do not bring them in to spread your around our schools are for positive ideas.”

“Thumbs up to that FBH guy that keeps our street so non-dusty due to the sand used over the winter good neighbor to have. Him and his men and lovely lady spreading good.”

“Thumbs up to my 17 year old Jenna Benna.

Happy birthday. Thank you for being such a responsible, mature, and loving daughter, sister and woman. I’m so proud of you. I love you, Mom”

“Thumbs up to the man who was collecting bags and bags of trash on Robinson Road Sunday morning. Thank you for displaying the true meaning of caring about your community. Now, if we could only get the litter-bugs to care about our town, that would be a major accomplishment.”

“Thumbs up. Let’s get Woodcrest Park back in shape for all to enjoy! My children would rather use all the “dirty” boats as a jungle-gym! Love to see a swimming dock back someday too!”
