What happens next? Our application was submitted in mid-February. Proposals that pass the initial scrutiny move onto a second stage: the proposal groups are interviewed April/May. The final decision will be announced by the end of summer.

Even after the proposal is accepted there is still a great deal of work to be done - not least in recruiting staff and adapting the building. The aim would be to open the school with 30 children in the Reception Class in September 2013. It is an exciting prospect – to have a small Church school opening in the parish. It is our hope and prayer that this will enhance our community’s life and make a powerful difference to children’s education.
