Goodbye - and Welcome Back to Maz! David Lloyd

and Maz needed to prioritise his son and his family over the new training course. He was therefore unable to give his full attention to the course and exams and has been allowed to return to Hampton to continue in his original role as a PCSO …and so we welcome him back (and can we have the tankard back?!)

In late February we heard that Marek Regan, our well loved PCSO (aka ‘the Pocket Rocket’) in Hampton and regular leader at MTV Youth at the Oldfield Centre would be moving on to train as a PC. …well, that is what we thought!

At an emotional goodbye, the leaders of MTV gave Maz some farewell presents including a special police tankard which had handcuffs for a handle!

Maz left Hampton to begin training as a PC. However, soon after he left Hampton, his infant son Mickey sadly became very ill

Last week we had our highest number of attendees and we enjoyed performances and rhythm and rap workshops from the Hampton Groove Academy, who came along in force to share their gifts and passion for a whole spectrum of sounds. We did some skating on our new skate ramps, some recording in our new recording area, and as ever, lots and lots of football: the club was bubbling away nicely.
