Glen and Bonnie Amator Amators celebrate
70 years of marriage Glen and Bonnie Amator of Goodyear will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary April 26. They were married April 26, 1942, at the bride’s mother’s house in Tolleson. They are Arizona natives. Mr. Amator was employed by Goodyear Aerospace as a line supervisor for 33 years. He retired in 1985. Mrs. Amator was employed by Arizona Highways Magazine as a customer service supervisor. She retired after 27 years in 1985. The couple have five children, June Todd, Fred, Margie
White, Tom, and Samye Barton. They have 13 grandchildren and 22 great- grandchildren.
A reception with family and friends will be held to celebrate the occasion.

Shannon Epps wed Michael K. Ritchie and Shannon Mollie Epps were married Jan. 21, 2012, in Washington, D.C. They were married in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Temple.
The bride is the daughter of Mac and Carol Epps of Oak Hill, Va.

Robert Perez to marry George Collins of Piqua, Kan., and Ann Collins of Buckeye have announced the engagement of their daughter, Andrea Collins, to Robert Perez, the son of Elaine Gabaldon of Chula Vista, Calif. The bride graduated from Yates Center High School
She is a 2004 graduate of Alta High School in Sandy, Utah, and received a Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Brigham Young University in 2008. The bridegroom is the son of Dennis and Christine Ritchie of Goodyear. He graduated from Agua Fria High School in
Avondale in 1998. He served a two-year LDS mission in Yekaterinburg, Russia. He received a bachelor of arts in Russian and a bachelor of science in political science from the Barrett Honors College of Arizona State University in 2004. He received a juris doctorate degree from the Sandra Day O’Connor School of Law at ASU in 2007. The couple met while working as diplomats for the U.S. State Department in the Caracas, Venezuela, Embassy. They leave in May for their assignment at the U.S. Embassy in Buenos, Aires, Argentina.

The groom graduated from Central High School in Phoenix in 1993. He joined the military immediately after high school and then became a crane operator. He is employed by Arizona Public Service Co. at the Palo Verde Nuclear Generating Station. The couple plan to wed May 19 at the Wigwam in
Litchfield Park with a reception to follow. A reception will also take place in Yates Center on June 16. The couple live in Goodyear.
