About the Authors Martin Walters is a writer, editor and naturalist based in Cambridge, UK. He studied Zoology at Oxford University, and has published field guides to birds and flowers, and nature reference books. Michael Lavelle is a lecturer in landscape management at Writtle College, UK. He has won three gold medals at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and won the Garden Media Guild Practical Book of the Year Award for Organic Gardening and How to Create a Wildlife Garden (both Lorenz Books).
