Handpicked heritage
As a child, Cheshire was always synonymous with days out; ice creams and picnics, sunbathing and frisbee throwing. I suppose what I didn’t know then was it’s also where some of my favourite (and Britain’s most impressive) pieces of handpicked heritage reside.

Cheshire’s Gardens of Distinction
Cheshire is the garden county and the diversity of gardens is unsurpassed. No other county can boast as many open gardens, from large estates, heritage houses, open-air theatres, adventure play areas, zoos and woodland retreats – everyone’s passion will be satisfied.
Chris Beardshaw Award-winning garden designer & TV presenter
