TETBURY ON THE MAP
Local textile designer and illustrator Stephanie Cole has expanded her popular ‘location tea towels’ to feature Tetbury.
Stephanie, who was recently voted a ‘Top 10 maker to watch and invest in for 2012’ by Channel 4, is based in the South Cerney and focuses on nature and Britishness in her designs. Everything is screenprinted here in the UK and this new collection features a Diamond Jubilee tea towel, aprons, cushions and prints. As well as being stocked in New Brewery Arts in Cirencester and Made in Stroud, and online at
www.etsy.com, she will also be exhibiting with The Gloucestershire Guild of Craftsmen in Market House in Tetbury from 9-13 May. •

shopping Qetty Bang Bang on the move
Gorgeous boutique Qetty Bang Bang is to move. On
1 June the store will open the doors to its new home at 61 Long Street in Tetbury. “The shop will continue to
offer an exceptional vintage and contemporary fashion collection for women but will use the additional space to expand on the menswear offering, bringing in new designers – all in the stylish yet quirky format that we love and adore, and with some wonderful new surprises too,” explains owner Kerry Spurry. The shop will open in style (by invitation only) with a
cocktail and canapés party. Music will be a unique feature of the shop, with a vintage baby grand piano permanently in place for live performances, with esteemed pianist Stuart King playing the first live set at the opening party. A repeat performance will take place on the afternoon of Saturday 2 June to celebrate the Jubilee weekend, when the shop opens its doors properly to the public. Qetty Bang Bang will then open up the floor for up-coming classical and jazz musicians to play on selected dates throughout the year. • 01666 503148
