A Chandler teen’s wish recently came true with the help of United Healthcare and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. United Healthcare sponsored 15-year- old Marissa’s wish to go to Hawaii through its national alliance with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of America to support the foundation and its mission of granting the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions. UnitedHealth Group has funded more than 1,250 wishes since 2007, and its

employees and the dollar-for-dollar company match have donated more than $2.8 million to the Make-A-Wish Foundation through its annual United Giving Campaign. With the help of generous donors and

Private school opens new campus in Chandler


Brightmont Academy, a private school specializing in one-to-one instruction, is now accepting enrollments at its newest location in Chandler. The school offers courses for sixth- to 12th-


graders and intensive tutoring for kindergarten to 12th-grade students in a flexible, customized learning alternative to traditional schools. Information sessions will be held at the


new campus from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. every Tuesday throughout April, when parents can tour the campus, meet the campus director and learn more about the school’s multiple enrollment options.
