Welcome... In August 2012, the Grand Pavilion
celebrates a special birthday.
For eighty years the Grand Pavilion has been the cultural heartbeat of the town and surrounding areas, offering residents and visitors a wide and varied programme of arts and entertainment. It also remains a popular venue for weddings, dinners and other functions.
So, to celebrate we’ve put together a bumper-packed programme which culminates with a series of special events in August to mark the 80th birthday. Please turn to pages 22 & 23 for more information.
I hope to see you soon at the Grand Pavilion, Mark Phillips, General Manager

PORTHCAWL TOWN COUNCIL We are extremely grateful for the ongoing financial assistance provided by Porthcawl Town Council. Over recent years, their annual funding has enabled us to refurbish and renew equipment and facilities. This has enabled us to diversify and grow conferencing, functions and weddings, which in turn is used to support the core arts programme and aims.
SPONSORS AND SUPPORTERS This season’s supporters are: BridgeFM, St. Clare's School Porthcawl, Nathaniel Cars, Once Upon a Time, T. Elwood Deere & Son and Sony. Why not speak to us about how we can work together to promote your business and ours?
Café Bar
