The day started with breakfast. This con- sisted of eggs and beans. Judith asked for eggs only but beans came just the same. So at least I got double beans!
It was then back in the bus for the long drive back to Lake Manyara via Gibb’s Farm. This gave Ron the chance to per- fect his skill at sleeping in the back of the van.
Just before reaching the Naabi Hill Gate we turned off the road to photograph the last of the herds of wildebeest. As soon as we were off the road we were delighted to find a Serval cat hunting mice in the grass. He was successful and made a kill. Reminded us of the cats at home.
