Rickyray Hernandez Rickyray Hernandez, 27, of west Phoenix died March 31, 2012, in Phoenix. Mr. Hernandez was born Nov. 10, 1984, in Phoenix. He worked at the Ashley Furniture Store warehouse. He is survived by his wife, Letisha Misquez; one daughter, Juliana; one son, Rickyray II; his parents, Angela Silva and Richard; two sisters, Elda and Monica; and three brothers, Christopher, Rudy and Johnny. father, and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Hale. He is survived by his wife, Sondra and daughter, Lexis and his father, T omas Eugene Hale, Sr. and his brother T omas Hale, Jr.

Doris Jividen passed away on March 17, 2012, while residing in a long term care facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her son, Larry, was at her side. She was born in Philo, Ill. in 1922. At 18 years old, she


was the youngest editor and publisher of the Pesotum, Ill. “Reflector”. She would marry her husband, Boyd, in 1944 and travel the United States as an Air Force wife. She also had her own career in Civil Service and would retire in 1984 as the Public Affairs Officer of Tripler Army Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.


At Tripler, she arranged for celebrity entertainment for veterans and active duty personnel. Jack Lord of Hawaii Five O was a frequent volunteer. Doris and Boyd moved to Litchfield Park, AZ. in 1987 where she began volunteer work teaching English. Her husband,, Boyd, passed away in 1999. She was a caring, gracious and selfless person loved by all who knew her. She is survived by a son, Larry, of Henderson, NV. and sisters Lois Moore of Springdale, Arkansas, Louise Schmidt of Champaign, Ill. and Marry Florence Brazeal of Tolono, Ill. Services are pending in the Phoenix, AZ area.

t. Col. Paul Arthur Granger, USAF Ret., 86, of Litchfi eld Park, Arizona passed away April 4, 2012. Born June 15, 1925 in Manteno, Illinois, he served in


the U.S. Air Force during WW II, Korea and Vietnam retiring as Lieutenant Colonel and was also a Dental Surgeon for Maricopa County. He was a member of St. T omas Aquinas Catholic


Church, T e Wigwam and the Luke AFB Offi cer’s Club. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Marilyn;

Carol J. Ray Carol J. Ray, 73, of Buckeye died March 23, 2012. Mrs. Ray was born Dec. 29, 1938, in Peoria, Ill. She attended schools in Gerard and Litchfield, Ill., where she met her husband while attending Litchfield High School.


She and her sons moved to Ari- zona in 1974, where she worked as a teacher’s aide in the math departments at Maryvale and Aqua Fria North (now Millen- nium) high schools, and finished her career in the reading depart- ment. She retired in 1999 after serving the youths in the commu- nity of Buckeye. She is survived by two brothers, Larry Roach of Peoria, Ill., and Howard Roach of Anaheim, Calif.; her former husband, Darol of Buckeye; one daughter, Debra Hills of Ashmore, Ill.; two sons, Rickey of Elk, Wash., and Timothy of Buckeye; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
