Nu Look Hair and Body Spa In the spring of 1998 Robert Murphy and Cindy Murphy brought together their
many years of hair styling experience to form Nu Look Hair Salon located in the Bell Tower at 43 Lowell Road, Hudson. Their new venture began with a six-station salon and three employees. Robert and Cindy were on their way. Within a few years, they opened their second salon in Nashua. As much success as the Nashua Nu Look had experienced, the heartfelt decision of
moving all the employees over to the Hudson location had to be made as there were insurmountable fl ooding issues in Nashua. In 2005 Robert and Cindy decided to become a booth rental salon. With this, they started to grow their business recruiting additional hair stylists. As Cindy made the decision to no longer assume any ownership of Nu Look, but to continue working as a hair stylist, an opportunity became available for their co- worker Keri Boivin.
In 2008 hair stylist and co-worker Keri Boivin, a Hudson resident, joined ownership of Nu Look with Robert. Keri invested in the expansion of the existing Nu Look to create the current 11 stations. At this time, Robert and Keri acquired additional space on the second fl oor. With major renovations completed, Nu Look opened a full service day spa. Today, Nu Look Hair Salon is one of Hudson’s most successful businesses. January 1, 2012 Nu Look expanded once again now to include a full-service day
spa. The Loft @ Nu Look offers multifaceted massage, skin and nail services.
