DRA Intelliforms
submitted by NH Department of Revenue Administration
NH Department of Revenue Administration (DRA) announces the release of the Tax Year 2011 Intelliforms. These intelligent forms pave the way for two roads to success: providing taxpayers with advanced capabilities to assist them in fi lling out their return; and giving DRA the ability to more effi ciently process using scanning, Optical Character Recognition, and electronic deposit. These technological enhancements led by DRA will give taxpayers greater ease in fi ling and paying via e-fi le and alternate payment methods in 2013. Redesign of the 2011 forms resulted from extensive
collaboration with members of the NH Tax Bar, NH CPA Society, and vendors. These new forms may be fi lled out online and then printed for fi ling with DRA. DRA encourages taxpayers and tax practitioners to fi ll out the forms online as usage of the 2D barcode system allows DRA to achieve greater accuracy and productivity in returns processing. To obtain forms visit NH DRA’s Website at

603-880-1516 Environmental Educator Award Presented
to Campbell High School’s Chester Orban submitted by Ruth Smith, New Hampshire Environmental Educators New Hampshire Environmental Educators (NHEE) presented its 30th annual Environmental Educator of the Year awards on March 14 at their annual meeting and conference held at the Seacoast Science Center in Rye. These awards are given to recognize and celebrate some of New Hampshire’s outstanding environmental educators. Among the 2012 recipients is Chester Orban of Campbell High School. At Campbell High School, Chet Orban’s
Environmental Science students and Ecology Club members learn what scientists do through hands-on experiences. They have gathered water quality data from a local pond to share with the Department of Environmental Services and created a bat roost research project to obtain
information related to the white-nosed syndrome which is impacting local populations of bats. Orban organized a school-wide multidisciplinary celebration of Charles Darwin and Johannes Kepler. He inspires his students and colleagues alike to examine the environment providing examples of how humans can work to sustain the natural world. The New Hampshire Environmental Educators presents annual awards to highlight the importance of ecological learning. The organization promotes environmental education by offering professional development, support and networking for all New Hampshire educators who strive to increase environmental literacy through formal and informal education. WHO responds to these challenges using a six-point agenda. The six points address two health objectives, two strategic needs, and two operational approaches. The overall performance of WHO will be measured by the impact of its work on women’s health and health in Africa 1. Promoting development 2. Fostering health security 3.
