Hotel Barcelona Princess Bed and Breakfast

Although the hotel does have a small swimming pool this is not accessible to wheelchair-users but there is an accessible beach nearby.

This stylish new hotel is well placed for enjoying the hustle and bustle of the city and a great place to unwind after a hectic days sight seeing.

Auditor’s view: Popular hotel, double or twin rooms with spacious bathrooms with wheel-in showers or baths; excellent access around the hotel. Braille buttons in lift. Accessible unisex toilets by restaurant.

Rafael Diagonal Port Bed and Breakfast

Surprisingly only a 3*, this beautiful hotel is situated on the seafront and only 10 minutes walk to one of Barcelona’s accessible beaches, and 30 minutes walk (10 minutes in a taxi) to the city centre. Elegantly decorated and very comfortable hotel.

Auditor’s view: Excellent access around the hotel, well adapted bathrooms with wall mounted shower seat. Accessible beach, Red Cross have amphibious, floatable wheelchairs to take wheelchair users into the sea for a swim or a cool down (peak dates only).

Hotel NH Contanza Bed and Breakfast

The hotel is located in one of the main commercial and financial areas. A bright and spacious hotel that has a rooftop swimming pool boasting fantastic views over the city.

Near the Diagonal Avenue which runs the length of the city. The L’illa Shopping Mall with its array of shops of all types is close by.

Auditor’s view: A modern hotel offering a good quality of facilities and service. The bathroom has a wheel-in shower and a cubicle. You’ll also find a small wall-mounted shower chair with grab rails for the toilet.

With only 63 rooms, guests will enjoy its special charm along with excellent service.

Located in the St Gervais area and near the main Diagonal Avenue. It is ideal for those who like both new and old architecture. Situated on a side street but near to the main avenues where accessible public transport is available.

Husa Hotel Tres Torres Bed and Breakfast

A small friendly hotel offering a good service for those who like the more Spanish style accommodation.

Close to the main avenues in a residential area. Nearby you’ll find the shopping district of the L’illa and Pedralbes.

Ayres Caspe Hotel Bed and Breakfast

Built in 2004, this modern hotel is furnished and decorated to a high standard and is centrally located only 20 minutes stroll to Plaza Catalunya and Ramblas.

Auditor’s view: Good accessibility around the hotel and its amenities, very comfortable rooms with well adapted bathrooms with wheel-in showers with wall mounted shower seat. Centrally located and only 20 minutes walk to Plaza Catalunya.

Hotel Montcada Bed and Breakfast

Our most central hotel, situated in the heart of the city opposite the cathedral. The city’s main cultural sites are within 5 minutes walk, including Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya.

Recently refurbished (2002), this traditional hotel has been decorated in a modern style and has a pleasant atmosphere. This property is highly recommended due to its prime location and the high standards.

Auditor’s view: Small double rooms with adapted facilities: shower cubicle. Very comfortable and ideally situated in the centre of the city.

If cover does not meet your requirements, please return the documentation within 14 days of receipt and your premium will be refunded in full unless you have travelled, made a claim or intend to make a claim. Under some sections of your policy, you will have to pay an excess. This means that you will be responsible for paying the first part of the claim for each person insured, for each section, for each incident. The amount you have to pay is the excess.


The policy wording gives you full details of what is and what is not covered and what to do if you need to claim. It is very important that you read the whole of this policy before you travel and make sure the cover is suitable for you. Please make sure that you take it on holiday with you in case of an emergency. A copy of the policy wording is available on request.


Each section of the policy shows the most you can claim but other limits may apply. For example, under the Personal Possessions Section there are other specific limits for any one item and for valuables (including photographic equipment). If you intend to take expensive items with you please check that you are fully covered.
