Historical interest and coastal resorts
We have audited a good selection of hotels in Cairo, Luxor, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada. In Cairo and Luxor you will be surrounded by awesome history – magnificent museums, the pyramids and temples; and, of course, the mighty Nile where cruising is a must.
In contrast, Sharm El Sheikh and Hurghada are great bases for a beach holiday and Red Sea diving. Accessible diving is provided in Sharm El Sheikh.
We have arranged with a local dive centre an array of excursions ranging from snorkelling to a fully qualified PADI course. The centre has extremely professional and personal individuals wanting to help you to achieve the most from your holiday. They provide a sailing boat that is equipped with a hoist to transfer you from the quayside onto the boat and into the water ensuring that you enjoy the unique experience of the Red Sea.

There are a range of historical sites to visit in Cairo including of course the Giza Pyramids, the Egyptian museum which houses over 120,000 objects ranging from pre-historic to the Greco Roman period, and many more – most of which are fully accessible.

Enjoy a Nile cruise during your visit to Luxor, sailing down the Nile from Luxor to Aswan visiting many of the accessible ancient sites some of which are fully accessible for wheelchairs. When on board the fully adapted M/S Amarco you can relax and enjoy the views of the luscious riverbanks contrasting against the sandstone of the historical Valley of the Kings and Queens.
It has to be noted that getting out and about in Luxor would not be possible in a wheelchair all excursions travelling etc would have to be arranged with the local agent, although this is very easy to do and the agent is happy to fulfil any requirements.
