Annual Mixed Doubles Tournament a Success
T
he annual mixed doubles tournament in February had a record number of participants this year. Seventy-eight players entered, and there were teams at 6.0, 7.0, 8.0 and 9.0. There were so many entries at the 7.0 level that the draw was split, allowing for two teams to win the champi- onship.

Pressure on Courts Continues
MAC boasts over 20 USTA regular league teams, 10 city league teams and seven Super Senior League teams with the senior mixed doubles league gearing up. Tennis players have trouble finding a court to book because of the heavy demand. As a courtesy please remember to cancel your court if you are not going to use it. – Mariniah Prendergast WM
