The MAC Pilates program has made considerable changes this year to elevate its standards and practices. Program goals are focused on member satisfaction,

service and professionalism. New Pilates Coordinator Cristi Dillon brings 25-plus years in the industry and 13 years as a suc- cessful Pilates studio owner and certified teacher trainer. Dillon was MAC’s aerobics and group exercise director for 13 years and left MAC to create special Pilates- based movement therapy classes, help- ing women survivors of childhood abuse, restoring healthy body image and healing. MAC Pilates reaches all ages and condi- tioning levels. Whether someone is a first- time participant, rehabilitating an injury or an athlete needing to stay at the top of your game, Pilates can offer a personal- ized, focused program just for your fitness needs. And of course it’s available for the rest of us, who just desire a healthy, func- tional amazing body. MAC Pilates works for everyone.
The MAC Pilates program has seen many new innovative classes and has expanded its studio offerings. We now enjoy new evening and weekend reformer equipment classes currently not offered as well as new mat formats, such as Cardio-Pilates.
Members can now just pop into the studio to get information at the new member service center desk located in the studio to sign up for one of our 25-plus regularly scheduled Pilates equip- ment classes or go online to see the new times available. MAC staff also offers
an educational setting, (MAC Member Enrichment Program) offering educational classes for members while enhancing instructor professional development. Pilates enrichment of our instruc- tors and members is first and foremost to providing a quality program along with the best in member service. The MAC Member Enrichment Program offers members an opportunity to learn along with the trainers. Highlighting an outside expert or drawing from our own professional MAC trainers. Our goal is to provide members the oppor- tunity to enrich their knowledge and deepen their Pilates exercise experience. MAC Pilates now offers members and instructors Pilates Teacher Training and Certification through Momentum Studios in Albuquerque, N.M. coming in 2013. The 2013 year kicks off with the Momentum National Pilates Teacher Comprehensive Certification and is open to members and outside teachers. The program offers over 500 hours of train- ing by Aline and Bryan Alexander, who own Momentum Studio in Albuquerque, N.M. Aline Alexander has been teaching Pilates for more than 30 years and is also a Gyrotonic and Gyrokinesis Master Trainer, as well as a Guild Certified Feldenkrais Practitioner.
