seems to have a clear advantage...Of course another study can be published in a year or to with completely opposite
results...This is how real science works. It can be contradictory but with careful work evidence builds. Without it all we have is advertising. Well, advertising and taxes. I would prefer chocolate and Paris but that’s me.
Bottom line...have your persistent back and leg symptoms checked carefully. If you have Lumbar Spinal Stenosis you are dealing with a slowly progressing painful condition. Don’t rush to the narcotics. Don’t be afraid to try acupuncture, spinal manipulation ( chiropractor), massage, yoga,or even Zumba. They have old lady Zumba and Aqua Zumba. Don’t look for complete relief from a pill. Give electrical stimulation a chance. Surgery remains an option but do yourself a favor and try a few alternatives before surgery. But of course...I know you...I know you are going to give up after the first thing you try doesn’t give you complete relief. You want that “heal with steel” approach. Listen, I’ll be here for you whatever you decide.. hopefully trying to keep your pills to a minimum and your exercise and diet to the maximum. Excelsior!

Rick Santorum has suggested that higher education at so-called liberal institutions leads to a loss of so-called values.
label to include the President. Why?
Rick Santorum has suggested that higher education at so-called liberal insti- tutions leads to a loss of so-called values. Well, higher education does result in changed thinking. All education changes what we know and what we know should change how we think about things. As former New York Senator Daniel Patrick Moynihan stressed, we are entitled to our own opinions but not our own set of facts. A good primary education imparts the skills needed to read, comprehend and interpret the facts and information we need to function well in the world. Higher education opens the door to more technically specific or ideologically uni- versal worlds of knowledge. One need not learn in a college setting to learn. It is true that a piece of paper should not and does not determine the intrinsic worth of a person. Still, Rick Santorum’s multiple pieces of paper have helped him get where he has gotten. Anti-education vitriol can lead to pecking parties and book burnings. Our minds are not designed to function in lockstep with the minds of others.
To insure our individuality, neurological design outfits our brains with jumping genes. According to a recent article in Scientific American, jumping genes ensure that each person remains unique. For instance, as the brains of identical twins develop, RNA sequences carry DNA into different spots in the genome and shove the DNA code into these different locations so that the twins’ brains are not 100% the same during life’s journey. I ask myself: how does the messenger RNA know where exactly in the genome it should shove the code? The magazine article did not tell me. The RNA just knows, I suppose. Nature functions whether I understand it or not. The earth makes its own adjustments. When I was a little girl, a boy in my class told me thunder was the sound of God bowling. I shared this information with my grandma. She in turn walked me over to a children’s picture encyclopedia she purchased at the grocery store. There were great illustrations of clouds, lightning bolts and Ben Franklin. The pictures in the book reflected what was in the sky. When storms moved in, I could see in the sky evidence of what I had just learned from the book. I am not as smart as Ben Franklin who wrote into a notebook what he learned from looking at the sky.
Whether or not our early spring bodes well, long term, I will enjoy it now. Of course, I may need a smudge pot for my fruit tree if the jet stream dips. I will con- sult the daily weather forecasts for that. The cycles keep cycling onward.
