Get Ready to Retire

REMARKS

As Bismarck-Mandan Chamber members, it’s important for you to get the most out of your membership. There are multi- ple ways to participate, all with diff erent levels of involvement, one of which is networking. Networking is one of the primary beneits of a Chamber membership. The Bismarck- Mandan Chamber provides you and your employees with a great number of quality oppor- tunities to get into the commu- nity and spread the word about your business or organization. Through events such as the Monthly Membership Mixers, Holiday Mixer and Spring Mixer you’ll have an opportunity to meet with area professionals in a social setting with the goal being to increase business and meet with other members. We at the Chamber can’t em- phasize enough how important it is that employees of members become involved in the various events we produce. Having em- ployees attend events such as the Monthly Membership Mixer or the Spring/Holiday Mixer can only help to increase the networking potential of your business. All Chamber events provide excellent professional development opportunities for new or veteran employees. For new hires, it gives them a chance to meet area profes- sionals, make connections and improve their ability to repre- sent their employer. Your next opportunity is at the Spring Mixer on April 12th from 5pm-7:30pm at the Ram- kota Hotel.

Talk to you then! Ryan

Students enjoy the farm animals featured at Ag Day hosted at Open Road Honda on the Strip in Mandan.

Open Road Honda opened their doors to host the Morton County Ag Day event again this year. Hundreds of students were able to participate in this event in order to experience local agriculture and the public was invited to attend as well. Demonstrations, including sheep shearing, and hands- on displays allowed students to satisfy several senses. Participants were able

to pet a variety of animals from baby chicks to baby goats.

The Chamber and the Chamber Ag Committee thank Open Road Honda for opening their building up to host this event. They also thank Nathan Boehm and Morton County Farm Bureau for coordinating this exciting and educa- tional event.
