No matter the weather, we’ll enjoy the game in total comfort as the Cubs take on the Milwaukee Brewers in this beautiful ballpark. Our seats are in Section 207, along right field line. Mary Todd Lincoln & the I&M Canal LaSalle County
“Mary Todd Lincoln” will board our bus and guide us through several Lincoln-related sites in LaSalle County. We’ll visit the Lincoln Douglas debate site and other Ottawa venues. We’ll visit the western end of the I&M Canal, where Mr. Lincoln walked in 1848 between the canal boats and the river boats. We’ll retrace an hour of the Lincoln family’s trip from Washington DC home to Springfield on the reproduction LaSalle Canal Boat, and even partake in a mule-tending class. Mrs. Lincoln will share her courtship and wedding to Mr. Lincoln over lunch. You won’t go hungry with a buffet style Captain’s Lunch, consisting of tossed salad, vegetable barley soup, baked chicken and au gratin potatoes, and Grandma’s cherry cake. Fee includes transportation, step-on guide, lunch and boat ride.

Are you new to computers? Call us to reserve a time with one of our staff members. You will get one basic computer instruction lesson (15 minutes maximum).
