WSQHA is pleased to announce that the 2012-2013 Washington State Quarter Horse Queen competition is under way; the fi rst runner-up will be crowned Princess. Serv- ing as an Ambassador to the WSQHA, our Queen and Princess will promote commu- nity awareness of the American Quarter Horse Breed, encourage membership and participation in the WSQHA, provide inter- action and support with various affi liated groups, and extend a benefi cial service to our WSQHA supported charities. Among various prizes and honors, our Queen received a $500 scholarship and our Princess will receive a $100 scholarship.
