very February cities around the world rock with earthquake- strength tremors of high fashion-fuelled excitement. Months of tension pent up by designers, make up artists, models and hair stylists are released in bursts of poses, struts and – in Burberry’s case – indoor rainstorms! The beauty and fashion ground then trembles for months to come as the Great British high street clamours to recreate the wonders of Fashion Week on an achievable (and affordable) scale. The global fashion weeks of A/W12 were no exception. Across the world we saw pop-art glamour, sculptured brows and heavily powdered eyes, side by side with natural dewy skin, flushed pink cheeks, and customary fierce red lips. Now the country’s hottest brands are revealing how to achieve their catwalk looks with products available on the high street; but beware, some of the products listed below are yet to be released – this coverage is hot off the press!


Pantene Pro-V for Moschino Cheap & Chic Pantene Pro-V created a 60’s mash up for Moschino Cheap & Chic, a look global stylist ambassador Sam McKnight describes as being ‘a lot of fun with a London vibe’. “The hair has a voluminous quality to it and is like a young modern girl’s take on a ‘60s look. The key to this look is to build up the volume and then keep it in place with a lot of hairspray,” says McKnight. To achieve the look hair should be washed and conditioned, then blow dried with Pantene Volume and Body Mousse, and backcombed for maximum volume and big impact. It should then be smoothed into a ponytail at the nape of the neck and pinned into a disheveled bun with a spray of Pantene Volume and Body hairspray to secure. For a truly Moschino Cheap & Chic look it should be finished with a pastel bow headband placed in the middle of the head.
