If you’re new to the Gold Coast, neighbors smile and wave and ask where you’re from. If you walk your dog, you’ll make five friends in five blocks, as will Fido.

for additional sunlight. Beyond the nook is a mudroom with terracotta tiles, cubbies, and powder room. Enter Kimble, who has back door

privileges with the Zucks, and he’s a walking memory chip for his many fine properties. It’s easy to see how Kimble became so successful in sales. He’s tall but not impos- ing, with a Tom Sawyer grin and a disarming William H. Macy way of speaking: “Heyyy! Nice ta meetcha! spigot. “Flowers need watering in the summer, and I didn’t want to think of toting water out here,” Geri explained. A two-person white tub with eight jets takes up one wall in the master bath, and there’s a walk-in shower on the other. The paint is a rich royal blue, which Geri said was one of several custom colors designed throughout, and an antique chandelier dances on it playfully. The final feature of the master bath is a refrigerator. “People get thirsty, and I didn’t want to think of running all the way downstairs...”
