Saturday March 31 The Litchfield Firefighters’ Association will hold their Annual Ham and Bean Supper in the Griffin Memorial School Cafeteria, 229 Charles Bancroft Highway, Litchfield, from 4-7 p.m. There is a small charge for the
dinner, with a discount for seniors and children under 12. Children under age 4 are free. Proceeds help supply hot meals to residents in need, an annual scholarship opportunity to a Campbell High Student looking to pursue a career in Public Safety, along with other opportunities through the Litchfield Firefighters’ Association.
Saturday, March 31 The Litchfield Women’s Club will host their annual Easter Bunny Breakfast to benefit the club’s scholarship fund. Breakfast will be served from 8-10:30 a.m. at the
Litchfield Middle School. The club will offer an all- you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast for the community to enjoy. There are many fun games, crafts and other activities for children, as well as visits and photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny, fantastic raffle prizes, and the Bunny’s Bake Shoppe with special holiday treats. As a public service to our area residents and their pets, the Litchfield Historical Society has again organized its annual Rabies Clinic. It will be held at the Fur
and Feather’s grooming, daycare and boarding establishment on Route 102 in Litchfield, behind and to the right of The Little Lobster Boat restaurant on April 15, from 10 a.m. until noon. Terri Briand, the Litchfield Town Clerk and Tax Collector, will be available to register Litchfield dogs, insuring that their owners meet the April 30 deadline for dog registration.

Saturday, March 31 Litchfield’s 1st annual Easter egg hunt is being held at Talent hall/Jewett field in Roy Memorial Park. The party starts at noon and the Easter egg hunt will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m., so you must be at the hall and at designated area no later than 12:15 p.m. for guaranteed participation. There will be a large and a small bounce house, refreshments, entertainment area for before and after hunt, raffles, community activity information, and a goody bag for every child. Bring your Easter baskets. Because this is our first year we are asking that you reserve your child’s spot in the hunt by either e-mailing kryckette@
myfairpoint.net or by calling Jessie at 420-8009, be sure to leave your child/ren’s names and ages. The rain/snow date will be Saturday, April 14.
