“Thumbs down. Shame on the school candidate who stooped so very low. Must have thought his chances of winning fairly were oh-so-slim. Surely, Litchfield's students and tax payers are the losers. First non-compliance and now this. May Jason and his family know that many residents are most grateful for his continued effort to provide an excellent school system for all.”
“Thumbs up to any NH official who is successful in getting the current law allowing any person access to the addresses of all students in a city/town changed.
Potential
pedophile concerns should be ample reason for this to be an appropriate action.”
“Thumbs down to the
Litchfield School Board Member who sent around a flyer with out of context arrest reports regarding another School Board Member to scare female voters. Your little scheme worked well but it was despicable and will not be forgotten in future elections. Do the right thing and please resign.”
“Thumbs down to that terrible man who made false allegations to win a school board position in Litchfield. What is happening to Litchfield? This is Massachusetts style politics and has no place in New Hampshire.”
“Thumbs down to the
Litchfield Selectmen Jason Hoch and the new Fire Chief for what you all did to the former chief. You are all disgusting for the way you behave.”

“Thumbs down to Dennis Miller, the school board member for what you did to Jason Guerette, the other school board member. Are there any morals in the town of Litchfield?”
“Thumbs up to Lisa and Pierre Garand. I see
you’re in the paper again. And I bet we will see you in June also.”
“Thumbs up to everyone that didn't vote for Shawn Jasper.”
“Thumbs down to Shawn Jasper. It wasn't the pro union people or the lack of voters that was your demise. It was your reckless actions, political motivations and your cry baby reactions that cost you your seat.”
“Thumbs up to the cast of Friday night's ‘Blithe
Spirit’! What a show!! Madame Arcati... you were quite the eccentric medium!”
“Thumbs down to the people setting off
fireworks in residential/forested neighborhoods. Now is when birds and other animals are building nests and nurturing babies. They are scared and sometimes hurt by the residue and noise of the fireworks. How would you like someone setting off fireworks next to your baby's crib? Think! Be considerate and have a heart.”
“Thumbs up to the Litchield Boys 5/6 Red team for winning a fantastic championship game. You worked hard and were great sports and you should be proud of yourselves.”
““Thumbs up to Litchfield Rec Orange and Red for a fantastic championship game. You were both good sports and played great game. You should all be proud of the way you played.”
“Thumbs up to the HPD and Board of Selectmen for having the integrity not to hide behind the ‘the thin blue line of silence.’ As a taxpayer, it was nice to see that no severance or payment of any kind was made to Don Breault as part of his termination from the police force. Thank you for standing up for what you knew was right all along.”
“Thumbs up to spring weather. Sitting on my
deck enjoying a cold beer Sunday and listening to the sounds of motorcycles, target shooting, people enjoying the outdoors. This is exactly why I moved to NH and reminds me of my childhood. Keep up the fun!!!”
“Thumbs up to the gentleman in the Hudson Sweeper Machine who patiently let us clean the leaves off the sidewalk. You are very kind! Everything looks beautiful now, and we were very appreciative of your helpfulness. Thank you!”
“Thumbs up to Ms. Prevel Trumel at GMS. Our
children are still talking about Dr. Seuss and Read Across America week!! We appreciate all you do for our children!”
“Thumbs up to the on-call Litchfield Fire Captain. It’s great news to hear your daughter is going to be home for Easter.”
“Thumbs up. With Litchfield now having pretty
much a full-time fire chief, we no longer need a full time captain to supervise the one full-time employee we have. I think we, as a town, can find
the Alvirne Barn. I hear you yelling at me to go all the time when you don't even have oncoming traffic at a full stop. I'm not a High School Student, I am a parent. You need to relax!”
“Thumbs down to the new chief in Litchfield.
First impressions can only be made once and your actions spoke clearly.”
“Thumbs up to the new Fire Chief in Litchfield. He has a huge mess to clean up, but we know he can do it!”
“Thumbs down and goodbye to the old chief!”
“Thumbs up to the Candidates for BOS Hudson for standing up and being willing to challenge the status quo in town government. You have all made a difference. You are great people in some ways. Selectmen bring civility back to town actions. This is a clear message from the voters of Hudson. Please!! May the Eagle fly!”
“Thumbs down to Mr. Miller. It is truly disgusting that obtaining a position on the school board in this tiny town was worth dragging an entire family through the mud. Good luck sleeping at night. I couldn’t if I had done something so reprehensible.”
“Thumbs up to the Presentation of Mary Academy Cheerleaders who placed third in their category in the CYO State Championships in Bedford last Saturday night. We love you, girls! From the Riley’s and the Stone’s.”
“Thumbs up! The
Litchfield School District chorus concert was incredible! All of the chorus teachers and students should be very proud. The art that was displayed throughout CHS was also wonderful! Thanks for the enjoyable night.”
“Thumbs down to the new Litchfield Budget Committee Member, who within a week of winning election is already proposing a new Litchfield Elementary School, just as before. Perhaps an approach that will get her the new school she so desperately wants is for her to take $30 million of the $50 million windfall she recently had to build a school.

“Thumbs up. Every year, the GMS chorus is wonderful. This year was no exception. I hope that Litchfield knows how lucky they are to have Mrs. LaBelle as the chorus teacher of GMS (even though my own three children are not at GMS anymore). The sound and the music that she creates with these children is incredible.”
“Thumbs up to the work done at Musquash; great job on the trails and the signs. Thank you!”

for them. You have made them victims for your own ego. I guess abuse comes in all forms.”
“Thumbs up to Sara Jasper for her courage to post her letter in the HLN. You obviously love your father and care very much about how he is regarded and treated by some Hudson residents. However, I will take issue with how you equate postings in the HLN ‘Thumbs’ section to cyber bullying. The HLN allows subscribers to post anonymous comments freely without concern for reprisal for a free exchange of thought and comments. The format works sometimes and other times not so much, but that in the manner of public discourse. Your father is a public figure and

The things sent or posted out there Hudson/Litchfield is not what you think for just those you chose and with the things being put on the phones and Internet, we need to inform the ones using them that the pictures put on the internet or sent by phones is out there forever and keeps going, so be more aware of what is out there.”

“Thumbs up. In case it does not get said, thank you, Shawn Jasper, for what you have done.”
“Thumbs up to Al Rodgers for also donating money for the library. When is your month
long celebration?”
“Thumbs up to Steve Dube and Joe Triolo of the Hudson Fire Department. Thank you for teaching the kids at the RML about fire prevention. Your flare for educating kids is ‘difficult to extinguish.’”
“Thumbs down to the now former Litchfield
School Board member who keeps saying he’s upset his prior arrest will affect his family, yet he keeps bringing it into the news for all to see. He’s trying to cry foul over someone else’s actions when his own actions are what the Town should be crying foul over.”
“Thumbs down to the former Litchfield School Board candidate who lost the recent election. Why was it okay for you to slander people with innuendos and unproven allegations on your lunatic website (and via third party flyers) and not okay for Mr. Miller to simply state the facts that anyone could find online and allow people to draw their own conclusions? Many of us would love to find out your ex-wife’s side of the story!”
“Thumbs down to the former SB rep. from
Litchfield for dragging his wife and kids into something that didn’t implicate them. If anyone

as such, he can be the topic of adverse comments or even ridicule because our constitution allows it, where other countries do not. We have elections by secret ballot, which by your reasoning would be cyber bullying because the voter hides behind a screen when making their choice for a candidate, and in your father's case it was an advise vote. Cyber bullying is wrong, whether done by an anonymous or known offender. Criticism of you rather, although upsetting to you, is fair. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.”

“Thumbs down to the former school board member who keeps boasting about his military record. Yes, it is honorable that he served, but as my dad who also served many years in the military has said, ‘There are two types of vets; those that tell everyone they see, and those that only see to tell anyone when asked.’ Can you please publish your DD 214 on your website so we can all see and get it over with.”
“Thumps up to transparent government and those who shine a light on public records that others would prefer stay hidden. Oh, the irony of being hoisted by your own petard.”
“Thumbs down to sore losers. You lost. Get
over it. You've said your piece - more so than another local politician that I can remember. Time to accept the will of the voters and stop foisting your rants on people who no longer want to hear it.”
“Thumbs up to the return of civility in Litchfield
government. I think I've heard enough personal attacks and conspiracy theories for a lifetime. Time to move forward and leave the dark ages behind. We all don't have to agree, but we do all need to be respectful.”
“Thumbs up to the Litchfield District Concert this past week. Simply magnificent! We are so lucky to have such a talented and dedicated group of teachers in our town.”

“Thumbs down to DM and his minions. I guess being pro-taxpayer and pro-family now means you must be anti-teacher. Stop worrying about JG's antics and focus on your own ridiculous behavior in sending out that flyer, which I received and tore up in disgust. I should thank you, as it helped me make up my mind not to vote for you.”

“Thumbs down to the Nashua newspaper who thinks they have a right to dump their advertising flyers in front of everyone's house in Hudson every week. I am tired of picking up your litter, because that is what it is, litter. I am not going to bother picking these up every week just to throw them in the trash. I'm going to let them pile up until you get the message that I don't want them. I notice that there are other houses in my area with piles of your plastic bags in front of their houses, too. Some of these wind up in the woods and waterways of our town. Keep your garbage, we don't want it. As far as I'm concerned, you should be fined by the town or the state for littering. Hudson residents, if you agree, please send a comment to TU/TD.”
