Senior All-Star Basketball Game on Sunday, March 18 at New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord. All-State players from Division II were called on to the court to be recognized in a pre- game presentation. White went on to play in the Senior Game. She registered seven points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one steal in 18 minutes to help the Division II All-Stars secure a 71-68 victory over the Division I All-Stars.

The Windham girls enjoyed their best season in program history this past winter. Windham achieved a regular season record of 13-5 and entered a competitive Division 2 tournament as the ninth seed. The Jags upset number-eight Bedford in the first round and top-seeded Hollis-Brookline in the quarterfinals, earning both victories in their opponent’s home gym. They gave Kearsarge everything they had in their first trip to the semifinals at Southern New Hampshire University but fell a just few points short of moving on, 42- 40.

Windham also won the Nashua North Holiday

Tournament title back in December, winning all four games over the holiday break that included a victory over Bedford in the championship game. The Jaguars ended the season with an overall record of 19-6 and were highly regarded as one of the best teams in the state and the area.

(RAYS) team members attended the Regionals club swimming competition held February 10-12 this year at Lawrence Tech High School. Swimmers must qualify to swim in each event at this meet by swimming the event with a time within a specific range. Other teams at this Regionals competition included: Crimson Aquatics (Andover-Boston region), North Andover YMCA Hurricanes, New England Boys & Girls Club, Southern NH Fins, Melrose YMCA Sharks, Solo Aquatics (Haverhill- area) and the YNS North Shore Sharks. Many RAYS swimmers scored well in numerous events and several time cuts for Age Groups or Sectionals were achieved in their races. Scoring was typically for the top 16 places in each event, but was limited by the number of swimmers in the event and each team was also limited as to how many points they could score in an single event. Placing in the 9-14 age groups was particularly difficult, especially for the girls’ events in which there were often on the order of 100 competitors for an event. Local RAYS scoring in the top 16 in their events were the following swimmers by age and gender: 8 & Under Girls: Medina Fedele (Windham): sixth in 25 Fly,

seventh in 50 Free, ninth in 100 IM, 14th in 25 Breast
