Golf tourney helps local police officers

Honor and support Chandler’s police officers, department employees and

their families by taking part in the Chandler Police Assistance Board (CPAB) inaugural golf tournament Sat., April 28 at Ocotillo Golf Resort in Southern Chandler. Proceeds help members of the organization who face major events such as illness, injury or death. “Life can be difficult and sometimes tragic,” says Al Leibowitz, vice presi-

dent of CPAB. “It is especially so for those who work for the City of Chandler as police officers. This is a great opportunity to support the brave men and women of the Chandler Police Department and enjoy a day of golf.” CPAB is a registered Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with

federal approval pending, comprised of local citizens who help Chandler police officers. Individual golf tickets are $125 and foursome golf packages are $500 each.

Online registration is available at www.golfdigestplanner.com/19952-CPAB, or for more information, contact any CPAB board members listed at www.CPABaz.org.
