Remembering Lennox Castle is the working title of a project which is being run by two organisations working with people who have learning disabilities, C-Change) as well as Project Ability (Inclusive arts organisation).

The idea behind the project came from C-Change celebrating its 10 Years as an organisation supporting adults with learning disabilities in the community as well as it being 10 Years since Lennox Castle hospital closed back in 2001. C-Change helped many former residents establish themselves back into the community after leaving Lennox Castle. The project is being funded by the ‘Heritage Lottery’.

The launch day of this exciting project with the working title ‘Remembering Lennox Castle’ took place at the base of Project Ability at Trongate 103. The day was facilitated by both David Douglas and Idem Lewis from the organisation ‘Heartfelt’ and was attended by around 70 people over the course of the day.
