Event 7
10 Year Celebration Club ‘LATE’ at The Arches
LATE is Scotland’s first inclusive night club for people with learning disabilities. The night is a learning disability friendly club though is open to everyone.
The launch night on Tuesday 10th of April will be the first club night of its kind in Scotland. LATE is being organised by C-Change with dates-n- mates & The Arches.
The Arches - main entrance
This event provides people who may not have had the confidence, or felt they may have been excluded from clubbing in the past with an opportunity to go out, let their hair down and enjoy themselves.
Club LATE is backing the ‘Stay Up Late’ campaign which asks for peoples support to be flexible, allowing people who use support to stay until closing time if they wish. The night will be on from 7:30pm until midnight though people can come and go as they please.
The Arches - venue for LATE
The night will feature a set by DJ Bowers (AKA Peter Bowers) who receives support from C-Change as well as Capital FM radio DJ Garry Spence.
LATE is event 7 as part of C-Change’s 10 Year Celebration.

“Although there are discos and clubs which cater for people with disabilities, they tend to be very much the ‘parish hall’ type. dates-n-mates members consistently told us they would like to have something more exciting and club like. We are absolutely thrilled the Arches are hosting the night, as their name is synonymous with a great night out.” Hannah Brown Project Worker at dates-n-mates
