1. Can you give us your business profile and the service you provide? Business Circuit is a UK networking community of over 11,000 entrepreneurs and business leaders. We focus on connecting people online via social media, then helping them to develop those connections into high quality relationships by inviting them to attend our live events so they can meet face to face.

2. Where did you get the idea for your business? I first came up with the idea for Business Circuit when I was promoting my online accountancy service using social media. I noticed that there were

a vast number of businesses out there trying to use social media to connect with potential customers and to raise awareness of their brands. This prompted me to create a solution in the form of Business Circuit.

3. Where do you see yourself in the next 3 years?

I see us having rolled out weekly events to every major city in the UK, as well as working with big name sponsors. Our goal is to be the market leading community for developing social media connections into high quality face to face business relationships.

Rishi Kumar, 24 Founder of Ace Case website: www.ace-case.co.uk facebook: www.facebook.com/acecase Twitter: www.twitter.com/#!/acecaseuk

1. Give us a brief outline of your company Ace Case is a retailer and distributor of iPhone & iPad cases. We specialise in designing accessories with a twist, breaking away from the corporate plain cases available on the market today. We separate ourselves from our competitors by using our own UK product design group that focus on creating unique and stylish cases for our target market.

2. When and where did you get the idea for your business? I lot of my plans or ideas are developed in the gym or while in front of my computer. In June 2011 I decided to import goods from China and initially I was importing USB memory sticks. However, it soon became apparent to me that I would need a lot more cash flow to make a real business out of it and started to look for other opportunities. By August 2011, I had sourced suppliers that could personalise mobile phone cases.

3. What would you describe as your biggest achievement so far?

Winning the East Midland business start up award was a really great achievement for me and my business, it reassured me that my business plan and knowledge was recognised by others. Graduating university with 1st class Honors after failing terribly was another fantastic achievement, proving to myself that I could reach my goals if I’m willing to put in the hard work.

4. What is the best piece of advice you have achieved so far? Someone once said to me “Dream Big, Think Big, Start Small” and this was such a powerful piece of advice for me.
