Mountbatten Basketballers Among Nation’s Best
Mounbatten's basketball teams have enjoyed successful campaigns across the board. In four age groups, the school's hoop stars have reached five finals. All but one of these finals remains to be played; the under 16s having defeated King Edward VI in the district playoff final to bring home the first trophy of what they hope to be a silverware-packed season!
The school is proud to boast 11 members of national league outfit Solent Kestrels in their number. Three of these have led the senior boys' team to unprecedented success. Ryan Bain, Javi Carmona Gordon (year 11s) and Theo King (year 10) have combined to dominate opponents' defences with the highest levels of skill and spectacular teamwork. The Arts Factory
The Arts Factory is a place for enthusiastic and moti- vated students who have a dream to perform. The Factory is set in a friendly and safe environment al- lowing children to develop their characters, stretch their imaginations and be themselves. Our classes in singing, dancing and acting will improve confidence, performance skills and nurture talent.
Ages 5-16, 6 week course: 1st Child = £108.00 2nd Child = £81.00
First Aid for 11-16 year-olds: 3 week course starting on Wednesday 25 April, 4.00-6.00pm. Cost: £20

Overall, the school's record in the 2011/12 season is an incredible 26 wins and 3 losses. Mr Neale is hopeful that if the players continue to work hard and play together, they can secure more wins and one or two more trophies. Congratulations to Mr Neale and the team!
