Lara Melda was a very popular winner of the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition in 2010 and since then she has given concerto and recital performances worldwide. Lara is a pupil at the Purcell School and Royal College of Music Junior Department. Lara takes on our Great Romantics theme with a Beethoven Sonata full of turmoil and emotion; Debussy at his most musically impressionistic; and one of Chopin’s most enduring pieces.

Sean Shibe was born in Edinburgh and is currently studying at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. He has already given recitals and concerto performances in the UK, China, Holland and Germany, and won the Royal Overseas League first prize and gold medal in 2011.
