HARLOW TYE ROTARY CLUB

ARE YOU UP FOR A CHALLENGE?

Keen fundraisers with a sense of adventure can now register for this year’s Charity Abseil from the 110ft Church Langley Water Tower in Harlow.

For the 15th year in succession, Harlow Tye Rotary Club is organising this very popular event, which has raised a stunning £600,000 in the 14 years so far. The dates this time are Saturday and Sunday, 5th and 6th May 2012 and the aim is to raise a further £50,000 for worthy causes.

Abseilers can either nominate a charity or voluntary organisation of their choice – subject to our Club’s approval – or support the Rotary Club’s own Charity Fund. The attraction is that 100% of the sponsorship raised goes to their chosen benefi ciary. The entry fee is £30 per person and you have to be 16 or over on the day you take part.

For more details and a downloadable entry form, visit the Club’s website

www.harlowtyerotary.org.uk or contact Abseil Co- ordinator Mary Bunyard on 01279 734211 or e-mail abseil@harlowtyerotary.org.uk

We are greatly indebted to our event sponsors New Hall Projects Ltd, 1st Call Mobility Ltd, Barnes Roffe LLP and Mark David Developments, without whose support the event would not be possible. We are also very grateful to Veolia Water PLC who allow us to have use of the Tower free of charge.
