Teachers Association is accepting applications for scholarships from seniors who have demonstrated an interest in entering a teaching career at the pre-school, elementary, or secondary level.
ELIGIBILITY:

During the “Read The Most from Coast to Coast” event at Fairfield elementary School, each classroom was decorated to represent a particular city. Riley, and his fellow students in Mrs. Schlabra’s class, drew pictures in their journals of the “places” (or classrooms) they visited.

Adult Education Program is offering free GED summer classes in Waxahachie and Corsicana. The summer program is an intensive five-week course. Summer program requirements are: 18 years old or older; must be a first-time GED tester; must complete a pre- registration packet to be turned in at the registration workshop; and must attend a registration workshop. Registration workshops
are June 16, 2012, at Navarro College-Corsicana, Bain Center room 400; and Navarro College- Waxahachie, Building C Room 155. You must arrive by 10 a.m. and plan to stay four hours. You drop off any old equipment your child has used. We sell it for you and you will get a percentage of the sale! The items need to be in good usable condition and already appropriately cleaned.
Sports Equipment Resale HOW IT WORKS?
Drop off can be any time. Just call or text the numbers provided and we will work out a time that is convenient for you. Resale will be on selected Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings or by appointment.
