Jungheinrich to build new factory 2,900
Jungheinrich has announced that it is to invest €40m in a new factory dedicated to the production of warehouse trucks and systems equipment, to keep pace with anticipated growth in demand for its products in the years ahead. Work on the new plant – which
will be sited close to one of the company’s existing factories in Moosburg, Germany – will start this month, and is expected to be complete in the second half of 2013.

The Jungheinrich Group has also
reported that Group sales for the 2011 fi nancial year were €2,116m - up from €1,816m in the previous year. The value of incoming orders, encompassing all business areas, rose to €2,178m against €1,924m in 2010. n

Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has appointed HFT Forklifts to its authorised dealer network. Based in Herefordshire, HFT works with customers from a range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, logistics, construction ,and food & drink, and offers sales and hire, support and training. HFT covers Herefordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Shropshire HFT’s managing director Carole Crawford said: “We recognised that to achieve our long-term business aims, we needed a stable, focused and determined manufacturing partner with a clear strategy for presenting real value to our customers.
