The Word Around Town... Letters to our Editor

Hohenberger Tanks All who Supported Him

Tank you so much for your continued support. It

is very rewarding to have received the endorsement of the residents of Windham. I will do my best to live up to your expectations and deliver on my promise of impartial and open-minded government, while maintaining my frugal approach to government spending. I look forward to serving all of you for another three years and hope that if ever there is anything I can do to assist you in my capacity as Selectman you will call me at 432-9415.

Roger Hohenberger – Windham Joanis is Looking Forward to

Serve the People of Windham I would like to thank the voters for electing me

to the Windham School Board. I look forward to the opportunity to serve the students and citizens of Windham. Campaigning was such a positive experience for me and my entire family. We enjoyed meeting so many of our neighbors and engaging the public on the future of our schools and our town. It took the hard work of many to make this possible, and I am grateful to everyone who volunteered their time and energy to the race.

I would especially like to thank my family, friends, neighbors, the Windham Women’s Club and the Windham PTA for their support. I would also like to thank my opponents for running an above-board campaign that stuck to the issues and avoided personal attacks.

I look forward to the challenges ahead. I am optimistic that at this time next year we will be moving forward with a teacher’s contract and a plan to address facility and capacity issues that are both acceptable to the voters.

Tank You for Supporting St. Patrick’s School

On behalf of the St. Patrick’s School and Parish Communities, I would like to thank the people of the Town of Pelham for turning out to vote for Warrant Article 8 on March 13. Te passage of Warrant Article 8 will result in the allocation of funds for a school nurse, textbooks and for state mandated testing for the Pelham children attending St. Patrick’s School. St. Patrick’s School is fortunate to have the support of the citizens of the Town of Pelham.

Rev. Anthony F. Kuzia, CM, Pastor, St. Patrick’s Parish – Pelham

McCleod Extends His Tanks Tank you for the tremendous support you gave me

on Election Day in the race for a seat on the Windham Board of Selectmen – it was overwhelming and very much appreciated. I have enjoyed serving as one of your Selectmen for the past three years and now look forward to a new term. While I wish that more of our registered voters voted, I am grateful for the roughly 3,000 residents who voted – the weather was fantastic, wasn’t it? As always, unexpected issues will undoubtedly arise throughout the course of the year. Feel free to contact me as desired so that I understand your various concerns and can therefore do a better job of working for you by ensuring that we address your concerns. Tanks again for your support.

Tank you for your confidence. Mike Joanis - Windham

I would like to share a sincere “Tank You” to

everyone who supported me during this year’s election process - I met so many great people during the last two months.
