GENERAL INFORMATION TRANSPORTATION
Arriving & Departing by Bus: Bus transportation to and from camp is included in the camp fee. Each bus is staffed by a chaperone, who greets and releases campers to their parent/guardian. Bus stops are centralized and designed to serve as many girls as possible in the area. See page 14 for stop information. Bus selection is to be made at the time of registration.
Arriving & Departing by Car: Campers driven to camp should arrive between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. and be picked up at 3:35 p.m. These times apply unless extended care arrangements are made in advance with registration. Select Parent Transport during online registration to drive your camper to and from camp.
FREE TO ALL CAMPERS
Every camper will receive one free Jockey Hollow Day Camp T-shirt! It should be worn every Monday that she attends a new session to be ready for her unit photo. Each camper will also receive a free Unit Picture for each session that she attends to help her remember friends she made at camp!
CAMP UNITS & BUDDIES
Girls like to make new friends at camp, but if they need to be with a particular friend, we will try to accommodate a request to be placed with a buddy. Campers are assigned to camp units based on grade level and stay with their unit for the session. Girls wishing to be buddies cannot be more than one grade apart and must register for the same camp program. Only one buddy can be requested and it must be reciprocal on the buddy’s registration.
SPECIAL NEEDS
Girls having special healthcare needs including physical, mental, or behavioral disabilities are welcome, provided we are able to accommodate their needs. A majority of the camp is handicap accessible. Feel free to contact Mary-Ann Lewis, Day Camp Director, at 973-248-8200 to discuss your camper’s needs.
PROGRAMS JUST FOR TEENS
Girls entering grades 6 to 9 have the option of participating in General Camp or Teen programs.
