Business Milestones

The Herlihy Insurance Group is proud to announce two significant milestones in 2012. First off, the agency cele- brates its 85th year in business. Secondly, the agency was re- awarded The Five Star

Award of Distinction by the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents. The agency has been the recipient of this distinction since 2001. To earn this award the Herlihy Insurance Group successfully passed an industry “fitness review” which examines five key imperatives of indepen- dent insurance agencies. Currently only two percent of all Massachusetts insurance agencies have received this cov- eted award. Jim, John, Mark and Colleen Herlihy, owners of this

third generation business attributed much of the agency’s success to its excellent staff and the entire team’s dedica- tion to do what is bets for the customer. “Three Genera- tions of People Protecting People” is the agency motto and they continue to do this in Five Star fashion each day.
