Yeager’s Harley-Davidson By Doc Davis Sedalia, Mo. is placed just right for a butt break

between Kansas City and the Lake of the Ozarks. There’s a Harley dealer there that, if you aren’t fa- miliar with them, you should make a point of stop- ping in and meeting the friendly people working there. It’s called Yeager’s Harley-Davidson and it’s located at 3001 South Limit, Sedalia, Mo. 660- 826-2925, yeagerscycle.com. J.R. and Mary Lou Yeager started as a motorcycle repair shop in 1956 and soon afterwards acquired the Harley-

Davidson brand. The business has thrived be- cause of the shared passion for bikes and the peo- ple who ride them. These honest, hard working people who care about customers have created a warm, family friendly atmosphere. They’re a fam- ily of motorcycle riders, which helps when you need service, they know what you’re talking about, it helps on purchases, getting a bike that fits you; it helps on accessories too, not every thing fits your bike. This is a 25,000 square foot facility filled with Harleys, Yamahas, Suzuki’s and Polaris. Their service department is top notch. There

is over a hundred years of combined experience in the service department. You may be able to avoid a ticket street racing by getting a dyno then you can bench race! Starting in May there will be a live band the first Saturday of each month, that’s not all; there is a free cook-out too. Told you these are friendly, fun-loving motorcycle riding people. Who knows what riders want and need more than another rider? This place sounds real good so far,

doesn’t it? Like they say on TV, “…but wait I’m not through”. If you’re going to take a rider course and learn specifics about the motorcycle you will def- initely want a motorcycle. These guys have your back, if you meet the criteria of being at least 18 years old and have in your possession a valid mo- torcycle license and possibly a helmet, Yeager’s will loan you one for this event, you lucky rascal. The event is on April 20th and 21st so, block

off those days on the calendar. You don’t want to miss Harley-Davidson Demo Days, the chance to see and ride fifteen to twenty of the new models. The awesome Harley-Davidson Trailer will here packed with the bikes that cause involuntary drooling, if you don’t have a beard bring a hand- kerchief, no one wants to ride a bike that you’ve drooled on. Remember, that’s Friday and Saturday, April 20th and 21st, the Harley-Davidson Demo Days at Yeager’s Harley-Davidson at 3001 South Limit, Sedalia, Mo. 660-826-2925, yeagerscy- cle.com.
