The Kelowna Owls defended their Okanagan Valley senior AAA basketball championship earlier this month and represented the district at the B.C. High School Boys Basketball Association provincial tournament during the past weekend. At press time, the Owls had played two games, winning the first against Point Grey and losing the second to the Vancouver College Fighting Irish 78-76 in quarter-final play at the Langley Events
