Popular architectural styles mix a variety of materials including brick, wood, stone and stucco. But getting this combination right is only part of the objective. While it's OK to be somewhat eclectic in your home design, our area has too often been chided for combinations of products that are inappropriate, gaudy or overdone.


To achieve a classical architectural style, it is important to understand and use the correct elements that define each style— right roof pitch, gables, windows and details.
