Neighbors Home Business Expo helps cancer org Home based businesses, local artisans and crafters who take part in a fundraiser from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat.,
April 14 can earn money and help fight cancer. Vendors pay a $25 fee for a table space and 100% will be donated to the American Cancer Society. About 100
different vendors are expected, offering many products, and 15% of all sales will also be donated to the ACS. The event also features a gold-buying booth provided by Party of Gold. This event will be sponsored by two teams, Living Proof and Team LIFE, who are participating in the Chandler
Relay for Life on May 11 to 12, and is the only fundraiser held for the American Cancer Society. Co-hosts are Kathy Keresty, whose husband, Joe, is a six-year survivor of stage IV cancer, and Lynne Hartke, a
three-year survivor of breast cancer who is also the wife of Kevin Hartke, pastor of Trinity Christian Fellowship and a City of Chandler councilmember. The Home Business Expo will be held at Trinity Christian Fellowship, 50 S. McQueen Rd. in Chandler. For details, email Keresty at

for dissertation study Sun Lakes area residents who are 65 or older and have
experienced the death of a spouse are eligible to participate in Arizona State University student Stacey Nseir's study of Tai Chi Easy's effect on widows and widowers. "This is my dissertation study for my Ph.D. at ASU in the
College of Nursing and Health Innovation," explains Nseir, a Chandler resident who resides in the Vistas at San Tan. The Tai Chi Easy classes will begin soon in the Southeast
Valley for participants. Those interested in volunteering should contact Nsier at 480-980-6441.
